Lisa Yackiminie, Cemvita’s Vice President of HR and Chief of Staff, was selected as an honoree for the Houston Business Journal's Inaugural HR Impact Awards.

As a part of the Best Places to Work Program, these awards honor HR leaders who have impacted their organizations, people, and the communities they serve. The individual honoree categories included HR Leader of the Year for Small, Mid-size, and Large Companies, HR Service Provider of the Year, and HR People to Watch. Honorees were chosen based on nominations submitted to the Houston Business Journal, with criteria focusing on leadership, innovation, and business accomplishments. The recognition signifies HR professionals' vital role in fostering successful and supportive work environments.

This inaugural class of recognized leaders included Ron Echols of LyondellBasell, Carlee Hovanec of PNC Bank, and Kim Iereau of Insperity, among others. According to the Houston Business Journal, the selected individuals stood out for "their often-unsung contributions to shared successes or for creating work environments that facilitated that success." Yackiminie was recognized in the HR Leader of the Year - Small Company category, highlighting her exceptional contributions to Cemvita and the broader HR community.

Lisa Yackiminie facilitated the HR framework for Cemvita's spinout of two companies, Endolith and GoldH2. "Under Lisa's leadership, we've implemented forward-thinking policies for talent acquisition, employee development, and diversity and inclusion," said Liz Dennett, CEO of Endolith.
